Lelit in the UAE: The Full Guide to Lelit Espresso Machines, from Anna to Bianca

Lelit makes espresso machines in Italy for people who want to be involved in every shot. Where some brands automate the process, Lelit gives you the controls: temperature, pre-infusion and, on some models, the flow of water through the coffee itself.

This guide covers where Lelit came from, the different types of machine in the range, and every Lelit machine and accessory we stock at The Era Store, along with who each one suits.

Where Lelit Comes From

Lelit was founded by the Epis family in the mid-1980s near Brescia, in northern Italy. The name is short for L'Elettrodomestico Italiano, "the Italian appliance." The company started out making steam ironing systems, and the family's next generation took it into espresso machines.

In 2022, Breville Group bought Lelit. That makes Lelit a sister brand to Sage and Baratza, which is why you'll find all three in our coffee machines. Lelit machines are still designed and built in Italy.

The Types of Lelit Machine

The biggest difference between Lelit machines is how they heat water for brewing and steaming. That decides how quickly you can make milk drinks, and how much control you have over each shot.

Single boiler. One boiler handles both brewing and steaming, so you pull your shot, then let the machine heat up to steam your milk. Simple, compact, and ideal if you mostly drink espresso or one milk drink at a time. The Anna and Anita work this way.

Heat exchanger. A large steam boiler with a separate pipe running through it that heats fresh water for every shot. You can brew and steam at the same time, with plenty of steam power for milk drinks. The MaraX and MaraX3 are heat exchanger machines.

Dual boiler. Two separate boilers, one for brewing and one for steaming, each with its own temperature setting. You get precise brew temperature and full steam power at the same time. The Bianca V3 is a dual boiler.

Flow control. A lever or paddle that lets you change how fast water flows through the coffee during the shot. Slowing the start and easing off at the end can bring out sweetness in light roasts or soften a dark one. It's optional on every shot, so you can ignore it until you're ready. The MaraX3 and Bianca V3 have it.

Lelit also uses two group sizes. The LELIT57 group on the Anna and Anita uses 57mm baskets. The Victoria, Kate, MaraX, MaraX3 and Bianca use a 58mm group, the same size as most café machines.

Every Lelit Espresso Machine We Stock

Most of our machines come with free coffee, from our freshly roasted specialty beans. Check the product page for details.

Anna

Compact and polished, with PID temperature control and the LELIT57 group. A 250cc brass boiler heats up in under 10 minutes, a pressure gauge shows you how each shot is extracting, and the multidirectional wand handles steam and hot water.

A straightforward way to start pulling proper espresso at home in almost any kitchen. You'll need a grinder alongside it. See the Anna.

Anita

The Anna with a grinder built in. It has 38mm conical burrs with stepless adjustment from a side knob, plus the same PID control, brass boiler, pressure gauge, and LELIT57 group.

For anyone who wants beans to espresso in one machine, without a separate grinder on the counter. See the Anita.

Victoria

Compact, with a 58mm LELIT58 commercial group and the Lelit Control Center (LCC), an OLED display where you set coffee and steam temperatures, turn on pre-infusion, and run cleaning cycles. It shows shot time, water level, and temperatures as you brew, and a back-lit gauge shows extraction pressure.

For home baristas who want café-size baskets and digital control in a small footprint. See the Victoria.

Kate

Built around the same 58mm group and LCC as the Victoria, with a grinder built in. You program single and double dose grind times from the grinding panel, and the display counts your doses.

For anyone who wants a 58mm machine and grinder in one compact, brushed steel body. See the Kate.

MaraX

A heat exchanger machine with a 1.8 L stainless steel boiler and Lelit's double probe system, which keeps brew temperature steady and avoids the overheating older heat exchangers were known for. Choose Warm, Hot, or Extra Hot to suit your roast, and switch between modes that favor espresso or steam. Two gauges show boiler and brew pressure, the pump is quiet, and the L58E group has mechanical pre-infusion. It's only 22.5 cm wide.

For milk drinks, back to back, from a compact machine. See the MaraX.

MaraX3

The heat exchanger design, with Pagaia, Lelit's electronic flow control. A wooden lever lets you raise or lower the flow during extraction to shape each shot. It uses Lelit's Dual Probe PID with thermosiphon circulation for stable temperature, the same Warm, Hot, and Extra Hot settings, and the L58E group with pre-infusion, in Lelit's newer design with wood finishes.

For anyone who wants to experiment with flow profiles and still have strong steam for milk. See the MaraX3.

Bianca V3

A dual boiler machine with the L58E group and Lelit's manual flow control paddle. The LCC sets each boiler's temperature separately, controls pre-infusion, and has an Economy Mode. You can switch the steam boiler off when you only want espresso. Walnut details and a movable water tank finish it off.

For home baristas who want full control of temperature and flow on every shot, with brewing and steaming at the same time. See the Bianca V3.

The Lelit William Grinder

Lelit's own on-demand espresso grinder, designed to sit beside its machines. It has 64mm flat burrs and a numbered knob for small, repeatable adjustments, and the knob doubles as a stand for tampers up to 58mm. The LCC display lets you program separate single and double dose times and tracks your doses, with an add and stop button to top up mid-grind. The chute and portafilter support both adjust in height, so coffee lands neatly in your basket. See the William.

Lelit Accessories

Knock Box Drawer. A brushed stainless steel drawer that holds up to 70 pucks and doubles as a base for Lelit grinders, so your William sits on top and your setup takes up one footprint. It has a rubber-covered knock bar, a magnetic storage tray, and a dishwasher-safe inner drawer, with a cloth and brush included.

Lelit Cups, set of 2. Porcelain cups with a matte outside, polished inside, and the Lelit gem on the base. Choose the 120 ml coffee cup or the 320 ml cappuccino cup, in matte black or white.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Lelit owned by Breville?

Yes. Breville Group bought Lelit in 2022, which makes it a sister brand to Sage and Baratza. Lelit machines are still designed and built in Italy.

What's the difference between a heat exchanger and a dual boiler?

Both let you brew and steam at the same time. A heat exchanger, like the MaraX, uses one large steam boiler with a pipe running through it to heat water for each shot. A dual boiler, like the Bianca V3, has two separate boilers, each with its own temperature setting.

What is flow control?

A lever or paddle that changes how fast water flows through the coffee during a shot. It lets you shape the extraction to bring out sweetness or soften bitterness. The MaraX3 and Bianca V3 have it, and you can leave it alone until you're ready to experiment.

Which Lelit is best for beginners?

The Anna is the simplest place to start, and the Anita adds a built-in grinder. If you'd rather start on café-size 58mm baskets with digital controls, the Victoria is a good first machine.

Which grinder goes with a Lelit machine?

The Lelit William is designed as the companion to Lelit machines, and it sits on top of the Lelit Knock Box Drawer. The Anita and Kate already have grinders built in.

Do Lelit machines come with a warranty in the UAE?

Yes. The Era Store is an authorized Lelit retailer in the UAE, and every Lelit product we sell comes with an official two-year warranty, handled directly through the authorized service center.

Do Lelit machines come with coffee?

Yes, most of our machines come with free coffee. Check the product page for details.
