Out of the box, the OutIn Nano pulls a single shot from a 6 to 8 g basket. The OutIn Nano Basket Plus is the full upgrade kit that turns it into a proper double-shot machine: a 16 to 18 g stainless steel basket plus its own portafilter, tamper, dosing funnel and distribution tool. More body, more crema, and a stronger base for a flat white or a latte that doesn't disappear under the milk.
The basket and shower screen are designed for even water distribution, which means less channeling and a more balanced shot than you'd expect from a machine this size. The dosing funnel keeps grounds off the counter, the distribution tool breaks up clumps before you tamp, and the tamper gives you a level, consistent puck. It's the same workflow you'd use on a countertop machine, scaled to fit in your hand.
Two things to know. Grind finer than you would for the standard basket, and run 60 to 80 ml of water for the double. This kit is made for the OutIn Nano only and does not fit the Mino.

How to use

- Swap the basket: replace the standard basket in your Nano with the Basket Plus.
- Dose: add 16-18 g of finely ground coffee.
- Tamp: press down evenly with the included tamper until the bed is flat.
- Brew: assemble your Nano and extract as normal.
💡 Tip: A larger dose may need a slightly coarser grind to keep the shot flowing evenly.

- Knock out the used puck and rinse the basket with warm water after each use.
- Wipe the tamper clean and dry.
- Dry all parts fully before storing.
- Avoid abrasive pads that can scratch the basket.
