Stainless steel, powder-coated · 550 ml (up to 5 cups) · All stovetops incl. induction · Designed by Goat Story
OTTO is a modern take on a brewing method that goes back centuries. Call it an ibrik, a cezve or a çezve, the shape has been refined over generations. Goat Story kept what works and gave it a clean, contemporary look that holds its own on a modern kitchen counter.
The wide base heats evenly and the tapered neck builds the thick foam Turkish coffee is known for. The name is a nod to the Ottoman Empire, where the ritual took shape.
Pair it with our Athar Turkish Coffee, specialty Brazilian coffee ground extra fine for the cezve.

How to Make Turkish Coffee
How to Make Turkish Coffee
Full pot, about 5 small cups. Here's the recipe for a full OTTO. You'll need finely ground Turkish coffee and small coffee cups.
- Measure. Weigh 30g of Turkish coffee for the full pot. Add sugar now if you take it, and a pinch of ground cardamom if you like.
- Warm the water. Heat 330g (330ml) of water to about 65°C.
- Mix. Add the coffee and the warm water to the OTTO and stir until all the coffee is wet.
- Heat. Put the OTTO on the stove at medium heat and don't stir again.
- Serve. When the foam reaches the top of the pot, take it off the heat. Your coffee is ready. Pour slowly and let the cups settle for a minute so the grounds sink.
💡 Making just one or two cups? Use about 7g of coffee for every 70ml of cold water, and follow the per-cup method on our Athar Turkish Coffee page, specialty Brazilian coffee ground extra fine for the cezve.

- Not dishwasher safe
- Dry it fully before storing
- Never heat the OTTO empty
💡 Induction hobs: the base is 96 mm. A small number of induction hobs have trouble detecting smaller pans, so if you're unsure, test your hob with a pan of a similar size first.
