Using your Baratza Encore ESP is simple:

1. Fill the hopper with fresh whole coffee beans.
2. Turn the hopper to select your grind setting: #1–20 for espresso, #21–40 for filter brewing.
3. Place the dosing cup (with the 58mm adapter if needed) or the grounds bin under the chute.
4. Press the front pulse button to grind, or turn the side knob to grind hands-free.
5. Transfer the grounds to your portafilter or brewer, then taste and adjust.

For espresso, make small adjustments within the espresso range until your shot tastes balanced.

Warranty

Baratza grinders include a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for products purchased in the UAE.

The warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is not transferable upon resale.

During the warranty period, Baratza may repair or replace the product at its discretion.

The warranty applies to private household use only and does not cover commercial, office, café, or business use.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, including burr wear
• Cosmetic damage such as scratches or dents
• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications
• Damage caused by foreign objects such as stones in the beans
• Damage caused during transport or improper packaging
• Products with removed or altered serial numbers

Care

To keep your grinder performing at its best:

• Brush the burrs and grind chute regularly to prevent coffee residue build-up.
• Use grinder cleaning tablets periodically to remove coffee oils.
• Empty the hopper if the grinder will not be used for extended periods.
• Avoid grinding oily, flavored, or caramelized beans, which can clog the burrs.
• Follow the maintenance instructions provided in the product manual.
