Using your Baratza Encore is simple:
- Fill the hopper with fresh whole coffee beans.
- Turn the hopper to select your grind setting: lower numbers are finer, higher numbers are coarser.
- Place the grounds bin under the chute.
- Turn the on/off knob on the side to grind hands-free, or hold the front pulse button for manual control.
- Brew, taste, and adjust the setting to fine-tune your cup.
As a starting point, try a medium setting for drip and pour-over, and a coarser setting for French press and cold brew.

Baratza grinders include a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for products purchased in the UAE.
The warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is not transferable upon resale.
During the warranty period, Baratza may repair or replace the product at its discretion.
The warranty applies to private household use only and does not cover commercial, office, café, or business use.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including burr wear
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches or dents
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications
- Damage caused by foreign objects such as stones in the beans
- Damage caused during transport or improper packaging
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers
Care
